Two-fer Tuesday: Jimmy Thackery
I've seen Jimmy Thackery in concert several times now and I'm always amazed at the depth and breadth of his catalogue. He can be so very subtle and then he can slash and burn the land for miles around with just a few notes. He's been doing this for how many years? I dunno. What I do know, though, is I hope he doesn't think of retiring any time soon.

I need to see Jimmy again. Haven't seen him in about 15 years or so. Saw him a ton of times in the early 90's. Was at Sully's when he recorded his live album.
Seems like every time I see him, I find something new and fun to like about him. There's a new dimension to the music, or maybe it's just that my life has changed enough for songs to take on new meaning. I dunno. But I like!
